You’ll coordinate manpower, workflow sequencing, welding activities, and production priorities while supporting workforce development and maintaining accountability for quality and safety standards.In This Role, You WillExecute daily fabrication production schedules and ensure jobs progress according to priority and delivery requirementsCoordinate fabrication sequencing, weld flow, material staging, and manpower allocation across assigned production areasSupervise welders, fitters, fabrication technicians, and working leads during assigned shift operationsEnforce compliance with approved welding procedures, fabrication standards, weld sequencing requirements, and quality expectationsEnforce all safety procedures, PPE requirements, hot work controls, crane safety practices, and housekeeping standardsMaintain communication regarding production performance, operational priorities, and schedule adherenceEnsure workforce accountability, attendance management, and daily labor coordinationMonitor workflow to maintain schedule adherence, labor efficiency, and production throughputAdjust staffing assignments and work priorities to address bottlenecks and production interruptionsCoordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve production constraintsVerify welders are operating within qualification requirements and approved production methodsMonitor weld quality, defect trends, and fabrication workmanship standardsConduct routine safety observations and address unsafe conditions immediatelyProvide coaching, feedback, and performance direction to production personnelSupport employee onboarding, skills progression, and technical training initiativesCoordinate containment activities and corrective actions for fabrication and weld quality issuesLead shift pass-down communication and daily production reportingSupport incident investigations and corrective action implementationParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and workflow optimization activitiesRequirements: What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader with fabrication and welding experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive workforce performance in an industrial production environment.Minimum QualificationsMinimum three (3) years of fabrication, welding, or manufacturing leadership experienceExperience supervising welders, fitters, or fabrication teamsKnowledge of industrial manufacturing workflows and production operationsStrong understanding of fabrication shop operations, welding processes, and production workflow systemsStrong leadership, coaching, and workforce management skillsStrong troubleshooting and operational decision-making abilitiesEffective communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skillsAbility to coordinate multiple production activities simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsAssociate’s degree or technical certification in Welding, Manufacturing, Fabrication, or a related fieldExperience in structural steel fabrication or industrial manufacturing environmentsExperience with AWS welding standards, weld symbols, fabrication drawings, and weld sequencingExperience supporting workforce coaching, training, and accountability initiativesEquivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be consideredYour Work ScheduleThis is a full-time, exempt position.
