Procurement Operations Analyst
About the Role
As a Procurement Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain financial health by managing material cost data and forecasting requirements. You will drive efficiency by analyzing complex datasets and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement accuracy and operational success.
Responsibilities
Validate and reconcile material price adjustments to ensure data integrity and complete documentation.
Proactively identify cost outliers, conducting thorough investigations to resolve discrepancies and mitigate supply risks.
Maintain and update raw material forecasts within the Cost Management System (CMS) to support strategic planning.
Facilitate monthly reviews with Supply Base Managers to align on material requirements and inventory placeholders.
Generate and interpret performance reports, providing actionable insights to cross-functional teams.
Streamline procurement workflows to improve overall supply chain visibility and cost management.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on negotiation and conflict resolution.
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A degree in a relevant field (Technical, Associate, or Bachelor’s degree).
Preferred Skills
Experience working within supply chain or procurement environments.
Familiarity with cost management software or ERP systems.
Strong collaborative spirit with experience working in cross-functional team settings.
Ability to translate technical data into clear, concise reports for non-technical stakeholders.
