Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a F-15C/EX Simulator Technician to support Training Services in Portland, OR. This candidate will work directly with F-15C/EX Aircrew to ensure flight training devices are operational and available to meet the warfighter training needs.Position Responsibilities:Supports the operation and maintenance of stand-alone and networked squadron-based F-15C/EX training devices, (FMT/WTT). Assists with operations, repairs, tests, installs, configurations, upgrades, and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware, and software. Performs general inspections for pre- and post-operations. Assists instructors/aircrews during scheduled training missions. Responsible for building and loading mission planning data for devices in cooperation with Weapons Officer, the Distributed Training Operations Center (DTOC), and other F-15C/EX Simulator Operators. Establishes DTOC connections and coordinates on-site equipment maintenance, when required. Troubleshoots to isolate electrical and/or mechanical faults. Responsible for minor training device maintenance and liaisons with CSSP for software updates and major maintenance. Acts as liaison with St. Louis Program Office for device security accreditation and maintenance paperwork. Performs logistical, administrative, and other collateral duties as necessary to maintain the training devices. Performs administrative information technology security duties and works with local ISSM to maintain systems accreditation.Establish weekly status, monthly availability, and utilization reports.Works under minimal supervision.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Portland Air National Guard Base, Oregon.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of related work experienceExperience in avionics, electronics, and/or computer information systemsCompTIA Sec+ certification, or must be able to obtain within 6 months of hire dateMust be willing to work one to two weekend days per month, as required by the Air National GuardMust be able to lift up to 35 pounds to a height of five feetPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in maintaining flight simulation systems, including Low-Cost Immersive Display Systems (LCIDs), Windows and Linux Operating Systems.Associates degree or equivalent flight simulator, electrical and/or IT experienceCompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
