Housekeeping Worker

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Worker to maintain cleanliness and order across various facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for residents, clients, and staff. Prior janitorial or industrial cleaning experience is highly valued, along with skills in floor care and facilities maintenance. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or industrial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards Conduct specialized cleaning tasks such as buffing floors and applying protective coatings Assist with custodial duties including trash removal, window washing, and surface disinfecting Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or painting as needed Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored Follow detailed cleaning schedules and document completed tasks accurately Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and industrial cleaning processes Ability to perform residential painting or minor maintenance tasks is a plus Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments Commitment to safety standards and proper handling of cleaning chemicals This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities.
