Global Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced product management leader to oversee the full lifecycle of industrial control products, from initial concept through end-of-life planning. This individual will develop and execute product strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.In this role, you will collaborate with customers, sales teams, regional marketing groups, and engineering departments across global markets to manage existing product lines while driving the development and launch of new solutions, product enhancements, and strategic sourcing initiatives.The position will also focus on identifying market trends, conducting competitive analysis, evaluating customer needs, and uncovering new business opportunities within the product portfolio. The successful candidate will help translate regional opportunities into actionable business initiatives while maintaining a strong understanding of product financial performance, including profitability, pricing strategy, product mix, and sales volume metrics.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket & Product StrategyMaintain awareness of competitor offerings and industry developmentsIdentify customer applications and opportunities for product expansionExplore new markets and growth opportunities for existing product linesEngage directly with customers to understand operational needs and challengesBusiness Performance & GrowthDrive initiatives focused on profitability, operational efficiency, and supply chain strengthSupport efforts to reduce lead times and improve overall product performanceLead product enhancement and lifecycle extension initiativesAnalyze key business metrics such as sales trends, quote conversion, bookings, and market participationPartner with regional sales teams to implement pricing and product tiering strategies that improve both revenue and margin performanceProduct Promotion & Technical LeadershipServe as a product advocate and subject matter expertDevelop technical presentations, white papers, training materials, and customer-facing documentationSupport trade shows, industry events, and product awareness campaignsCollaborate with marketing teams on promotional materials and messagingProvide training and guidance to sales, service, and education teamsQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related fieldSeveral years of experience in industrial product management, sales, marketing, or process engineeringStrong understanding of industrial controls, automation systems, valves, actuators, instrumentation, or related engineered productsExperience working in business-to-business industrial marketsAbility to evaluate customer requirements, competitive positioning, and product specificationsStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teamsProven ability to build relationships across global organizationsStrong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilitiesPreferredMBA or advanced business educationExperience leading product portfolios and cross-functional teamsBackground in marketing communications, product positioning, or technical marketingExperience improving pricing strategy, profitability, and market share growthCustomer-facing experience in industrial or engineered product environmentsIdeal BackgroundThe ideal candidate will have a technical or engineering foundation combined with experience in product management, sales, or strategic marketing. Experience working with industrial automation, process control systems, embedded technologies, smart control devices, robotics, machinery, or similar engineered products is highly valued.Candidates with experience supporting product growth initiatives, commercial strategy, technical marketing, or industrial communications programs will be especially well suited for this opportunity.
