Part-time Professional Art Instructor
Location: Children's Art Classes – Brownsburg, IndianaStart Date: Train this summer. Be available for Open Houses in August. Main Start: August 31, 2026.Pay:$25–$30/hour (based on teaching experience)We are currently accepting applications to fill our Part Time Art Instructor position. Bachelor's degree in art is required, and applicants must have experience working with students (Aged 5-18). A preference may be given to certified Art Education Teachers with experience. We are looking for an instructor to take on classes for our school-year curriculum (September 2026-May 2027).Children's Art Classes:All supplies and a full, structured curriculum are provided. Please look at our website for a full description of the courses we teach. www.childrensartclasses.com/brownsburgAges 5-18. Intro to Art (ages 5-6), Beginning Art (ages 7-8), Art 1 Foundational Course (ages 9-18), Art 2 (ages 10-18), Art 3 (ages 11-18), Advanced Art (ages 12-18)Core classes are small and capped at 12 students per class.Educators must be able to instruct techniques in 40 different studio art mediums, including ceramics. Please research our school prior to the interview.We have a 9-month studio art curriculum (September-May), with summer workshops June & July.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a BFA (required)In-classroom teaching experience preferredCurriculum delivery experienceStrong classroom management skillsSkills & Attributes:Passion for teaching and inspiring young artists—from littles to teensA team player who cares about students, quality of education, coworkers, the community, and our school's successEffective and exceptional classroom management and leadership skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational abilitiesIntegrity, transparency, and honest communication—please do not misrepresent yourselfAdditional Requirements:Must be able to work at least two weeknights and one of our teachers needs to be available Saturday mornings during our school year calendar (September-May).
