Come explore one of our many opportunities and grow with us!How You’ll Make An ImpactAs the Shipping & Receiving Clerk you will operate within a dynamic warehouse setting, overseeing inventory management and orchestrating the intricate processes of all shipping and receiving.Location and Work ExpectationsThis is a 100% onsite position in our Shreveport, LA officeMonday – Friday, 8am – 5pm CSTWhat You Will Be DoingYou will oversee the intake of all incoming goodsPrepare and handle all shipments of goodsAssist with loading and unloading of goodsUnderstand policies of shipping and receiving as well as proper storage of goodsMaintain the efficiency and cleanliness of the warehouse and shipping/receiving areasUnderstand security policy of equipment storage and make sure all items are always secured in the warehouse and surrounding areasOrdering, managing delivery schedules, and tracking all purchasesReceive items in the system properly via the procurement modulesUpdate configurations for receiving of softwareFollow and execute the policies and processes put in place by the Director of ProcurementResponsible for quarterly inventory audits and reconciliationAssist with FacilitiesAssist other departments with deliveries of project equipmentAssist with E-Cycling both internally and externally (client)Assist with Data EntryYou’ll be successful in this role if you have experience in/with1-2 years of Shipping/Receiving and/or Inventory Control experience, IT relatedGood understanding of technology and value of different technological productsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and focusMust be responsible, motivated, dependable individual who can execute the above responsibilities with minimal supervisionMust be able to follow directions effectivelyMust be able to take initiative to complete responsibilities independentlyMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentThis role involves extended periods of sitting or standing and regular use of computers and office equipmentRequired Language SkillsAbility to communicate professionally, in English, both written and orallyAbility to write business correspondence and process proceduresAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general publicBonus points forMSP ExperienceBasic computer and hardware knowledgeExperience working with vendor websites/portals placing and tracking ordersPacking and shipping experience using UPS/FedExPhysical Requirements/Working ConditionsMust be able to lift and maneuver equipment around 60 pounds as requiredBenefits And PerksMedical, Dental and Vision coverage for employee and family401k + company-matched contributions 4% match on 5% contribution - no vesting period! The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and PTO.
