Immediate Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care contract opportunity with our LTC facility in Truth or Consequences, NM. Pay:$2,782 (Travel pay package)Local pay package available Available Work Schedules:6:00am - 6:00pm (Days)6:00pm - 6:00am (Nights)36/48 alternating weekly schedule Contract Details:15 weeks to start (with option to extend) Job Details Assess patient or resident health, monitor for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure their well-beingDevelop, update, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the patient care teamAdminister medications and treatments safely and accuratelyObserve residents for any medication reactions or changes in condition and report concerns to the healthcare providerProvide treatments including wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures within scope of practiceSupervise and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating appropriately and ensuring residents receive quality careEducate residents and families on medications, treatments, and managing chronic conditionsDocument care provided, resident progress, and any health changes in a timely mannerRespond quickly to emergencies, delivering critical care and coordinating with medical teams when needed Qualifications Valid RN licenseAt least one year of clinical experience in a long-term care settingCurrent BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certificationExcellent problem solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skills
