Legal Assistant

Legal Assistant to join a contract assignment for our client based on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys by coordinating case activity, preparing legal materials, and helping maintain efficient day-to-day office operations. Responsibilities:• Prepare, revise, and organize legal documents, correspondence, and supporting materials for attorney review and use.• Maintain accurate case records and ensure files, records, and related documentation remain current and accessible.• Coordinate attorney calendars by arranging meetings, tracking deadlines, and helping prioritize upcoming case milestones.• Submit court documents through electronic filing systems and support filing activities in both state and federal matters.• Communicate with clients and other parties in a thorough and attentive manner to gather information, share updates, and support case progress.• Assist attorneys with hearing, trial, and court appearance preparation by compiling materials and organizing required documents.• Handle administrative tasks that contribute to smooth office operations, including document management and general legal support.• Work with office software and legal databases to manage information efficiently and support daily workflow needs.• At least 2 years of experience in a Legal Assistant or Paralegal position.• Hands-on experience with e-filing and court submissions, including state and federal court filings.• Knowledge of document preparation, case coordination, and civil litigation support activities.• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.• Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with strong client interaction abilities.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using legal software or databases.• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with attorneys and team members.• Familiarity with legal terminology and court procedures; a degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is an advantage.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
