Actuarial Analyst IRemote Eligible | Insurance & Financial ServicesI’m currently partnering with a highly respected financial services organisation looking to appoint an Actuarial Analyst I to join their growing actuarial team.This is an excellent opportunity for a near-credentialed actuarial professional who enjoys solving complex analytical problems, working with large datasets and supporting strategic decision-making within a collaborative and highly technical environment.The role will focus on supporting pricing, reserving, modelling and actuarial analysis initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams across the business.Key responsibilities include:• Applying actuarial and statistical methodologies to support business decision-making• Performing trend analysis and supporting rate indication activities• Supporting catastrophe modelling and actuarial risk analysis• Developing and enhancing actuarial tools, reporting and analytical processes• Analysing large datasets and translating business problems into technical solutions• Supporting process improvement and compliance initiatives• Communicating analytical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders• Supporting cross-functional actuarial and business projects• Assisting with training and knowledge sharing across the teamWhat they’re looking for:• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent analytical experience• 4+ years’ actuarial or analytical business experience• Near ACAS qualification (within 2 CAS exams of ACAS)• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability• Experience with Python, R, SQL, SAS or BI tools• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills• Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information clearlyAdditional experience of interest:• Pricing, reserving or catastrophe modelling exposure• Insurance or financial services background• Military experience or military spouse background beneficialWhy this role stands out:• Remote eligible opportunity across the continental U.S.• Strong compensation package ($103k–$197k)• Industry-leading healthcare, retirement and wellness benefits• Long-term actuarial career progression and development support• Collaborative and highly respected actuarial environment• Opportunity to work on impactful, enterprise-level analytical projectsThis role would suit an analytically driven actuarial professional looking to further develop their expertise within a modern and mission-focused financial services environment.Please apply directly via LinkedIn
