Your Purpose as an AP/AR Manager:
The Accounts Payable and Receivable (AP/AR) Manager leads AP and AR teams, ensuring accurate invoice, payment, and cash processing. The role focuses on improving financial processes, managing vendor and customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Cross-department collaboration is key to supporting the company's financial and operational goals.
In your role as an AP/AR Manager:
Team Leadership: Lead and develop AP and AR teams, setting performance expectations and managing day-to-day operations.
Accounts Payable Duties:
o Oversee invoice verification, coding, and payment processing.
o Manage vendor payments and resolve discrepancies.
o Reconcile vendor accounts and ensure timely disbursements.
o Prepare 1099s.
Accounts Receivable Duties:
o Manage invoicing, collections, and cash applications.
o Monitor AR aging reports and improve cash flow.
o Resolve customer payment issues and maintain accurate records.
o Implement procedures for efficient cash application and collections.
Process Optimization: Refine AP and AR processes for efficiency and accuracy, addressing bottlenecks and system improvements.
Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards, maintaining proper documentation.
Vendor and Customer Management: Build and maintain strong relationships, addressing payment and billing concerns.
Reporting and Reconciliation: Oversee month-end close activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting.

Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of experience in accounts payable management or relevant accounting roles.
Previous experience in automotive dealership accounting is preferred.
Familiarity with AP systems (e.g., Yooz, Corpay, CDK) is a plus.
Must demonstrate high levels of confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
