Maintenance TechnicianAt Asbury Place Kingsport, our residents call this place home - and you'll be the person who keeps it that way. As our Maintenance Technician, you'll handle everything from electrical and plumbing repairs to grounds upkeep and equipment maintenance. Your work is visible, meaningful, and directly improves the daily lives of the seniors in our care.This is a hands-on, on-site role where no two days look the same and where the people around you (team members and residents) genuinely notice and appreciate what you do.What You'll DoPerform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility - electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanicalInspect equipment and building systems to ensure safe, efficient operationRespond to maintenance requests from residents and staff with a positive, can-do attitudeMaintain the exterior grounds, keeping the community clean and welcomingOperate company vehicles to support facility needsFollow all safety protocols and assist with resident evacuations in emergency situationsCollaborate with team members across departments to keep everything running smoothlyWhat We're Looking ForRequired:Hands-on knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systemsAbility to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight or confined spacesStrong communication skills - you'll regularly interact with residents, families, and staffValid driver's license to operate company vehiclesAbility to make quick, independent decisions - especially in urgent situationsTeam-oriented mindset and a professional, respectful approach with all peopleNice to Have:Prior maintenance experience in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settingFamiliarity with HVAC systems or preventive maintenance programsA Few Things To KnowThis is a physically active role - you'll be on your feet most of the dayOccasional extended hours may be required based on facility needsSome exposure to cleaning chemicals and standard facility environmentsReady to make a difference every day?
