Cashier PT 16 hrs/wk 5p-7:30p

Under general supervision but according to established policies and procedures, operates a cash receipt system to record, collect, and distribute cash transactions. Performs a variety of bookkeeping duties and closes out cash register at end of scheduled shift. Experience: Six months' experience cashiering in order to be familiar with cash register functions Skills: * Skill in basic financial analysis for bill computation, payment processing and discrepancy recognition * Skill in written and oral communication * Ability to perform non-complex arithmetic in receiving money and making change * Ability to operate the cash office with minimal supervision or assistance.
