POSITION SUMMARYThe Quick Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services on customer vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid inspections. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to delivering quality work in accordance with dealership and factory standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESMaintenance & ServicePerform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standardsDrain oil from the crankcase and refill with the required amount and type of oilReplace oil and air filtersInspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessaryCheck tire pressure and add air as neededPerform tire repairs and rotations as necessaryLubricate moving parts with specified lubricantsDocument all work performed on the repair order accuratelyCommunication & QualityCommunicate with the parts department to obtain needed partsReport machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor immediatelyEnsure that customers' vehicles are kept clean throughout the service process and notify Service Advisors immediately of anything that changes the appearance or condition of the vehicleParticipate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by the Service ManagerSafety & ComplianceOperate all tools and equipment in a safe mannerMaintain and account for all dealership-owned tools and manuals, returning them to the proper location and in the same condition as receivedUnderstand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know requirementsReport any safety issues immediately to managementKeep the shop area neat and clean at all timesQUALIFICATIONSEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentSkills & CompetenciesAbility to read and comprehend written instructions and documentationSound judgment and attention to detailWORKING CONDITIONSThis is a physically demanding position. Most work is performed standing or walking. The technician will be required to wear a uniform daily.
