DescriptionThe Contracts Specialist is an experienced professional who will be responsible for drafting, negotiation and execution of complex contracts. The Contracts Specialist will ensure compliance with legal and company standards while providing strategic guidelines on contract-related matters.Essential FunctionsAssist with negotiating contracts covering items of major importance or magnitudeConduct research on legal and regulatory requirements related to contracts.Ensure compliance with all related applicable Federal, State, and industry laws, regulations, and standardsReviews and processes contract invoices; monitors and ensures compliance with contract terms.Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to gather necessary documentation and information.Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts.Assist in the resolution of contract disputes and issues.Maintains a clean and orderly work area.Performs other duties as assigned.Position RequirementsRequirementsAssociates Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies or related field with 6 years or more experience with a strong understanding of contract law and contract management principles(Required)Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies or related field with 2 years or more experience with a strong understanding of contract law and contract management principles(Preferred)Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong time management, planning, and organizing capabilities Advanced knowledge of contract management software Government contracting experience, knowledge of FAR/DFAR, NDA’s, and Small Business Plans (Preferred) Consistent reading and visual acuity required Ability to sit, stand, walk Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt EOE Statement RENK America is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
