Security Dispatch Operator

Overview: We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Dispatch Officer to coordinate security personnel and respond to security incidents effectively. The ideal candidate will ensure timely communication and efficient dispatching of security staff to maintain safety and security across the premises. Responsibilities: Monitor GPS tracking and reporting systems to ensure security guards are following their routes and protocols. Verify that guards are checking in and out at their assigned posts. Ensure all security reports are completed accurately and on time. Fill open posts and reassign security personnel as needed to maintain full coverage. Answer the dispatch phone promptly and professionally, taking detailed reports of incoming calls. Dispatch security personnel to specific locations or incidents based on priority and need. Maintain real-time communication with security staff via radio or communication systems. Record and report incidents, guard check-ins/outs, and dispatch activities. Coordinate with security team to address operational or safety concerns. Ensure compliance with security procedures and protocols. Qualifications: Experience in security, dispatch, or related fields preferred. Strong communication and multitasking skills. Familiarity with GPS and reporting systems. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. Attention to detail and organizational skills. High school diploma or equivalent; security or dispatch certifications are a plus. Working Conditions: Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to operate communication and monitoring equipment. Ability to remain alert and attentive during extended periods.
