Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus availableOpportunity:/nCat Scan Tech - Cat Scan Tech/n/nJob Details:/n• Work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM/n• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs/n• Perform all CT exams according to department procedures with independent judgment/n• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures/n• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history/n• Administer contrast media following established procedures/n• Review CT images for clinically acceptable results before releasing patients/n• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment/n• Use proper patient identification with 2 unique identifiers per hospital policy/n• Demonstrate proficiency with loading and operating power injection equipment/n• Maintain competency with venipuncture procedures/n• Adjust technique to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality/n• Clean and disinfect equipment according to infection control policies/n• Complete all studies in RIS before completing in PACS/n• Take call when necessary/n• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS/n• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required/n• Less than 1 year CT experience preferred/n• Must graduate from accredited Radiologic Technology program/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility operates a comprehensive imaging department with state-of-the-art CT equipment and maintains high standards for patient care and safety.
