SUMMARY: The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for supporting the accounts receivable function by: assisting with customer inquiries, daily receipt application, cash management, debit/ credit memo creation, and data entry. The primary focus of the Accounts Receivable Specialist is to participate and perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts receivable transactions. The pay range for this position is $18-$20/hr Remote work allowed. #LI-REMOTE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following is a list of essential functions, which is subject to change at any time and without advance notice. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and take appropriate actions to minimize delinquencies. Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances to ensure timely payment. Receives and processes customer calls and emails Tracks and resolves outstanding payment issues. Conducts account research and analysis. Process payments in accordance with established procedures. Processes monthly credits / check refund requests.
