Legal Assistant – Corporate & Estate Planning (2+ Years Experience)

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support our corporate law and estate planning attorneys in a fast-paced, team-oriented law firm environment. This role includes legal document preparation, client communication, and transactional support, including entity formation and closings.This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, supportive firm where your work plays an important role in delivering high-quality legal services to clients.Compensation & Benefits$22–$30/hour (depending on experience) + $1,000 sign-on bonusHybrid flexibility: up to 2 remote workdays per month100% employer-paid healthcare (selected plan)Dental & vision contributionsHSA: up to $2,500/year401(k) with employer matchPTO starting at 18 days/year + additional tenure-based leaveFirm events, team lunches, and a positive office culture Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to multiple attorneysManage calendars, meetings, and communicationsPrepare, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondenceHandle client intake, including conflict checks and engagement lettersMaintain organized physical and electronic filesAssist with time entry and general administrative tasksCoordinate document delivery and e-signatures (DocuSign)Corporate / Transactional SupportAssist with transaction closings (signature tracking, closing binders, indexing)Prepare and file corporate and business documentsSupport entity formations, including formation binders and stock certificatesMaintain and update business registrations and recordsRequirements2+ years of experience as a legal assistant in a law firmStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communicationProficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe AcrobatStrong proofreading and document formatting skillsPreferredExperience in corporate and/or estate planning lawFamiliarity with transactional work, including closings or entity formationKnowledge of legal terminology and law firm proceduresScheduleMonday–Friday, flexible 8-hour workday (typically 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM).Employees may adjust start/end times and finish earlier when the workday is complete.Includes up to 2 remote workdays per month.
