Systems Engineer

We are partnering with a growing organization in the Wayne, PA area that is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support and enhance a complex hybrid infrastructure environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in Tier III support, enjoys solving high-level infrastructure challenges, and has strong experience across Microsoft cloud and on-prem technologies.This position will play a key role in maintaining enterprise infrastructure operations, supporting cloud initiatives, improving system performance, and driving modernization efforts across the environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier III infrastructure support across enterprise systems and cloud platformsAdminister and optimize Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environmentsManage and support Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, Office 365, DNS, and DHCP servicesTroubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and system performance issues across on-prem and cloud environmentsDevelop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate operational and administrative tasksSupport virtualization platforms and related infrastructure technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and system improvementsMonitor system health, availability, and performance while proactively addressing issuesAssist with security initiatives, patch management, and infrastructure hardening effortsParticipate in infrastructure planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiativesDocument configurations, procedures, and technical solutions to support operational excellenceRequired QualificationsStrong experience supporting Microsoft Azure environmentsHands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365Experience supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure environmentsAdvanced troubleshooting experience within enterprise infrastructure environmentsStrong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilitiesExperience with DNS, DHCP, and virtualization technologiesProven ability to provide Tier III infrastructure support in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft DefenderFamiliarity with Azure DevOps and KubernetesExperience supporting MSSQL environmentsExposure to enterprise monitoring and observability toolsPrevious consulting or client-facing experience is a plus
