Electromechanical Assembler (Epoxy Transformer Technician)KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for an Electromechanical Assembler in Foothill Ranch, Ca.Position OverviewThe Electromechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, bonding, molding, and testing electromechanical components and systems with a focus on epoxy applications, plastic molding, vacuum pump integration, and fiberglass fabrication. This role supports production operations by ensuring high-quality assembly, structural integrity, and compliance with engineering specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesMix and pour epoxy resins into molds for transformer coils and components, ensuring proper degassing and vacuum pressure.Prepare molds, apply mold release agents, assemble casting components, and perform sanding, masking, and polishing of cast partsInspect finished castings for defects, such as voids or cracks, ensuring compliance with design specificationsMaintain and clean mixing equipment, vacuum pumps, and curing ovensQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required2+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly or composite fabricationExperience working with epoxy systems, adhesives, and composite materialsFamiliarity with plastic molding processesExperience assembling or servicing vacuum pumps preferredAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipPreferred SkillsExperience in composite manufacturing or fiberglass fabricationKnowledge of curing processes and material handling requirementsBasic electrical wiring or integration experienceFamiliarity with industrial manufacturing environmentWork EnvironmentManufacturing or production floor environmentExposure to resins, adhesives, and composite materialsUse of PPE including gloves, respirators, and eye protectionAbility to lift up to 50 lbs
