Structural Engineer

Job Description Position SummaryOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee the construction of safe and durable structures. This role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure structural integrity, code compliance, and project efficiency from concept through completion.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projectsPerform structural analysis and load calculationsPrepare drawings, specifications, and technical reportsReview architectural and engineering plans for accuracy and feasibilityEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal building codesCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout project phasesConduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and safetyEvaluate existing structures for renovations or retrofitsProvide solutions to structural challenges and construction issuesSupport permitting and approval processesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain (preferred)2+ years of structural design experience (varies by level)Proficiency in structural analysis softwareExperience with AutoCAD and/or RevitStrong knowledge of building codes and industry standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilities
