Job DescriptionEnvironmental / Regulatory Advisor IIILocation: Spring, TXDuration: 12 months (extension likely)Pay Rate: $124/hourTravel: Approximately 15% (U.S. Gulf Coast)Position SummaryWe are seeking a senior‑level Environmental / Regulatory Advisor III to support large‑scale infrastructure and energy projects within a carbon capture, transportation, and storage portfolio. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for environmental and regulatory matters, with a strong emphasis on wetland and surface permitting along the U.S. Gulf Coast.The advisor will lead permitting strategies, manage regulatory approvals, and support engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities across multiple projects.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the environmental and regulatory lead for assigned projectsDevelop, implement, and manage Regulatory Compliance Plans and Environmental Management Plans (EMP)Lead wetland and surface permitting efforts and develop effective permitting strategiesObtain and manage environmental permits, licenses, and regulatory approvalsEnsure compliance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Clean Water Act, and applicable environmental regulationsInterface with engineering, construction, and EPC teams to integrate environmental requirements into project executionReview EPC contractor environmental deliverables (e.g., EMPs, waste management plans, spill response plans)Conduct field assessments, inspections, and regulatory compliance monitoringInterface with regulatory agencies and support internal and external reporting requirementsSupport project safety, health, and environmental leadership in audits, investigations, and training initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline10+ years of experience in environmental and regulatory compliance for infrastructure or energy projectsDemonstrated expertise in wetland permitting, surface permitting, and regulatory approval processes
