Our dream is to become the fastest growing, most loved, window covering company in the world. What’s yours? \n Position Overview\nThe Material Handler is responsible for efficiently and safely moving, storing, and managing materials within the facility. This role ensures that raw materials, components, and finished products are handled safely and accurately to support production and warehouse operations.\nWhat you'll do\n\nLoad, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area using manual labor, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as required.\nReceive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and quantity.\nMaintain accurate inventory records by tracking materials using barcode scanners, inventory software, or manual logs.\nEnsure materials are stored properly to prevent damage, contamination, or loss.\nDeliver materials to designated areas on the production floor in a timely manner to support manufacturing schedules.\nAssist with cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits.\nFollow company safety protocols and participate in regular safety training.\nAssist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and production area.\nIdentify and report damaged, defective, or unsafe materials to supervisors immediately.\nOperate equipment in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.\nCollaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth material flow.\nAll other duties as assigned\n\nWho you are\n\nHigh school diploma or GED (preferred).\nPrior experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling (preferred).\nAble to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment.\nForklift certification or are willing to obtain certification.\nCan read, interpret, and follow instructions and safety guidelines.\nStrong attention to detail and can perform basic math calculations.\nAble to lift and carry up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.\nGood organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\nBasic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping\n\nWhat's in it for you?\n\nBase range: $18-24/hr\nGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability\nA company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growth\nTime off with pay \n401(k) plan with a degree of employer matching\nPaid parental leave\nWellness programs and product discounts\n\nPlease note, all offers presented to candidates are carefully crafted to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and reflect the individual candidate’s education, experience, skills and potential.Hunter Douglas is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with applicable employment laws.
