We seek a strong sales hunter to find new business opportunities, and maintain existing accounts. This manufacturer sells into a variety of industries and goes to market through distribution and direct to OEMs.Inherit a book of business; focusing on business development (existing & new customers/markets)Seeking technical business savvy, aggressive sales professionals who can analyze existing business and strategize future growth plans!Customized niche products with strong brand recognition in the marketRemote position + travel, energetic leadership, stable business!Responsibilities:Develop strategic customer accounts & cultivate new business opportunitiesIdentify new products and market opportunitiesDevelop winning strategies for new business pursuits for assigned territoriesProactively analyze customer needs and issues and communicate those needs back to HQ (VOC)Ensure that the sales channel supports new product development goals of engineering and growth objectives of the businessEstablish and maintain key customer relations and ties to new development programsSupport financial reporting including forecasting, budgets, and quarterly reporting requirementsQualificationsDesired qualifications:Bachelor's degree strongly preferredMin 3+ years field sales experience, account management, business developmentKnowledge of Mechanical Power Transmission strongly preferredHigh sense of urgency with excellent organization, communication, and written skills with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to travel as needed (25%-50%)Problem solving, excellent judgment, confidentiality, and managing multiple projects with a "can do" attitude are key strengths that will ensure success in this high-profile Regional Sales positionWhy is This a Great OpportunityImmediate job opening for a Sales Manager for a stable and growing Fortune 500 manufacturer.
