With a focus on innovation and quality, we take pride in our diverse portfolio of products that reflect our commitment to excellence.Job SummaryThe Category Analyst will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights and delivering those insights to our National Account Managers (NAMs) to drive strategic decision-making. A key focus of this role will be collaborating with our NAM team on category management initiatives, ensuring our brands are positioned for success as retailers evaluate product assortment, shelf space, and overall category performance. This role requires the ability to understand industry trends, data analysis, and tell compelling stories through insights that influence retailer decisions.Key Responsibilities:Stay updated on consumer and industry trends by regularly reviewing publications, reports, and articles.Track sales trends, report variances, and prioritize key business needs with the National Accounts team.Synthesize learnings from various sources (shopper data, scan data, customer research) to create clear and impactful selling stories in a visually appealing manner using PowerPointSupport the NAM team with data-driven proposals and key insights to improve account development for small-format grocery and drug retailersWork with NAM's to buildout retailer-specific POGs driven by data + insights.Create, maintain, and communicate standardized reporting for the NAM team; update and maintain the pitch decks and presentations; create and generate monthly Nielsen reports.Updating and maintaining existing data tools & presentations utilized across sales org.Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.Provide ongoing support and data for the Sales TeamAnalysis of sales trends pertinent to chain distribution and volume.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Economics, Computer Science or a related field.1-3 years experience in a similar role or field is a plusExcellent analytical, communication, detail orientation, and organizational skillsAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlinesAbility to work independently as well as with the NAM teamStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPointIRI/Nielsen data proficiency valuedLocation: Philadelphia, PAAvailability to travel as required. Estimated 5%.Military experience is a plus.Compensation:Estimated base salary range: $45,000-$60,000 USDIndividual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and qualifications.The salary range refers to the base salary only and is not inclusive of the total compensation package.
