Our specialist delivery teams will then take ownership of fulfilling those assignments.You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy in the US, while collaborating closely with an experienced UK based team.What You’ll Be DoingIdentifying, engaging and converting new clients across pharma, biotech and medtechBuilding senior-level relationships across both industry organisations and consultancy partners (e.g. medical communications, market access and strategy consultancies)Leading consultative commercial discussions from initial outreach through to signed terms and briefingActing as the face of Carrot Recruitment in the US marketPartnering with internal delivery teams to ensure smooth handover and long-term client successContributing to the broader US growth strategyWhat We’re Looking ForProven track record in life sciences recruitment and/or business developmentStrong understanding of the US life sciences landscape and buying dynamicsDemonstrated success in winning new business and building long-term client relationshipsA true hunter mindset: proactive, resilient, and motivated by opening new opportunitiesBalanced with a consultative approach: credible, thoughtful, and relationship-led (not transactional)Highly organised, self-driven, and comfortable operating autonomouslyExcellent communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholdersLocationUS-based, remote (East Coast strongly preferred to align with UK team)What’s on OfferCompetitive base salary + strong commission structure linked to new business generationSignificant autonomy and ownership in a high-growth marketOpportunity to play a key role in building Carrot’s US presenceBacking of an established, specialist life sciences recruitment business with a strong reputation
