Senior Manager, Career Services (Law Firm)

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Career Services to become an integral leader within the dynamic Professional Development team at one of our prestigious NYC global law firm clients!The Senior Manager, Career Services will provide guidance and career coaching to lawyers and Firm alumni as they explore and expand their career options. This is an incredible opportunity to serve in a unique role within one of the world's most well-respected law firms!The firm operates in a hybrid schedule, with three days onsite in NYC, and two days remote.RESPONSIBILITIES:Identify exceptional external career opportunities for lawyers in transition so that they may maintain strong relationships with the Firm.Provide individualized career guidance and coaching to current lawyers and alumniAssist attorneys with defining and achieving and executing career goalsDevelop sample documents and other resources to support career guidance, including assisting with resume creation and cover lettersCultivate relationships with partners, alumni and clients to increase the number and relevance of job leads receivedShare opportunities and connect current lawyers seeking career guidance with clients and alumniCreate content for the alumni newsletter and career and social media sitesPresent to summer associates, affinity groups, practice groups and others on career development and career service resourcesREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor of Arts or undergraduate business degree required, and Master of Arts, J.D. or legal degree strongly preferred.At least 8 years of relevant experience in career counseling, placement and professional development with a track record of success working in a law firm, professional services or academic environmentExpert experience in career development, career counseling and recruiting Proven record of developing and implementing successful career placement strategiesPrevious experience in career services with attorneys and legal stakeholders is highly preferred
