Project Manager – Data Center ConstructionMXI Partners is recruiting a Project Manager to join a specialist Data Center General Contractor delivering hyperscale and mission-critical facilities in the Northern Virginia market. This is a full project lifecycle role — from RFP and pre-construction through commissioning and client handover.What's on offer:Base salary up to $170k + bonus + benefitsHealth, dental, and vision coverage401(k) plan with employer-paid life and disability insurancePaid time off + employee referral and assistance programmesWork on some of the most significant data centre projects in the USThe roleYou'll lead all facets of data center construction delivery across CSA and MEP scopes, owning everything from day-to-day field operations and design coordination to financial reporting, change order management, and client engagement. You'll supervise superintendents, project coordinators, and assistant PMs, and work closely with internal stakeholders, design-build contractors, and customers.Key responsibilities include:Managing design phases, construction documents, and RFI/submittal processesDeveloping and maintaining detailed project schedules including procurement milestonesLeading monthly financial reporting — forecasting, cash flow, WIP, and contractor billingCoordinating and supervising design-build contractors and internal subject matter expertsOverseeing the change order process with owners and subcontractorsDriving constructability reviews and proactive schedule risk managementSupporting commissioning and leading close-out and handover of physical assets and documentationEnforcing OSHA safety standards on site (OSHA 30 preferred)What we're looking for:3–5 years of construction project management experienceStrong background in CSA and MEP construction management — this is a requirementData center or mission-critical experience preferredProficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office suiteConfident managing multimillion-dollar budgets and complex subcontractor relationshipsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture (or equivalent experience)Ability to travel 30–50%This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced construction PM ready to step into a high-impact role at the center of one of the fastest-growing infrastructure sectors globally.
