People who love building great products, redefining what is possible with AI, and turning complexity into elegant, scalable solutions.About TriveltaAs Director of Tax, you’ll lead the design and execution of Trivelta’s global tax strategy across a growing portfolio of entities and jurisdictions. You’ll manage all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, and planning, ensuring we operate efficiently, minimize risk, and meet obligations in every market we serve. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and is excited to build scalable tax infrastructure from the ground up.ResponsibilitiesLead global tax operations across all Trivelta entitiesOversee income, indirect (Sales and Use/VAT/GST), gaming, and employment tax compliance — ensuring timely and accurate filings in all jurisdictionsDevelop and execute international tax planning strategies that optimize global effective tax rate and cash flowCoordinate with external advisors and local tax partners to manage audits, notices, and compliance mattersDesign and implement scalable tax reporting processes and internal controls aligned with growth and regulatory complexityCollaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure tax accuracy in monthly closes, consolidations, and financial statementsLead transfer pricing strategy, documentation, and intercompany policy alignmentSupport expansion efforts by advising on tax structuring for new markets, entities, and product launchesMonitor legislative changes and assess impacts on Trivelta’s operating model, particularly in gaming and digital services sectorsManage tax provision (ASC 740) preparation and review in coordination with the Controller and external auditorsPartner with Legal, HR, and FP&A to ensure tax considerations are embedded in contracts, compensation plans, and forecastsDrive automation and system integration for tax data management, leveraging ERP (NetSuite) and reporting toolsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA and/or MST strongly preferred)10+ years of progressive tax experience, including international and multi-entity exposureSolid understanding of U.S. federal, state, and international tax regimes (OECD, VAT, transfer pricing)Experience leading or coordinating global compliance in high-growth or technology-driven companiesStrong working knowledge of ASC 740 and financial statement tax reportingProven success in building or maturing in-house tax functions (transitioning from outsourced to internal)NetSuite experience a plusExcellent project management and process design skills with ability to build from scratch and scaleCollaborative and adaptable communicator who can translate complex tax issues into business termsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving organization with multiple jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks
