By fostering a culture of integrity, stewardship, and collaboration—both within our team and with our partners—we create lasting value, inspire trust, and lead transformative progress for our industry and communities.Position SummaryAs a Superintendent, your primary focus will be on planning, coordinating, and leading field operations to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with contract requirements. This role is responsible for day-to-day jobsite leadership including schedule coordination, subcontractor management, quality control, productivity tracking, and workforce supervision.The Superintendent works closely with Project Managers, Foremen, subcontractors, owners, and general contractors to deliver successful projects while maintaining RMR’s standards for safety, professionalism, and performance. This position will require travel.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day field operations on assigned projects from mobilization through closeoutEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and site-specific requirementsCoordinate jobsite manpower, material deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor activities to meet schedule demandsMaintain jobsite productivity and ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and contract documentsConduct daily site walks and inspections to monitor safety, quality, and progressDevelop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules in coordination with the Project ManagerParticipate in project planning meetings, preconstruction meetings, and jobsite coordination meetingsCommunicate effectively with owners, general contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholdersTrack field progress, document daily reports, and support accurate reporting of labor, production, and project statusIdentify and proactively resolve field issues including constructability concerns, schedule impacts, and manpower constraintsSupport field layout, installation sequencing, and coordination with other tradesEnsure field teams have the tools, information, and support needed to execute work efficientlyMaintain jobsite documentation including RFIs, safety reports, daily logs, inspections, and punch listsSupport project closeout activities including punch completion, turnover documentation, and final inspectionsUphold RMR’s standards of professionalism, leadership, and accountability on every jobsiteRequired QualificationsPrevious experience with a proven track record as a Construction Superintendent (or similar role), preferably in a self-performing trade environmentStrong knowledge of jobsite safety, quality, and health guidelinesIn-depth understanding of construction operations, field sequencing, and site coordinationAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedulesProficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Microsoft Project preferredStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to communicate professionally with field teams, clients, and subcontractorsAbility to lead, motivate, and manage crews effectivelyOSHA 30 certification requiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong field leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple crews and subcontractorsWorking knowledge of construction best practices, jobsite logistics, and installation sequencingAbility to identify schedule risks, manpower constraints, and quality issues before they impact the projectStrong communication skills for jobsite coordination, documentation, and stakeholder updatesAbility to work independently while partnering closely with Project Managers and leadershipStrong attention to detail, professionalism, and customer service mindsetAbility to maintain accurate daily reporting and jobsite documentationPhysical & Travel RequirementsAbility to travel as required for jobsite assignments, meetings, and project supportAbility to work in active construction and industrial environmentsAbility to stand, walk, climb, and move throughout job sites for extended periodsAbility to perform hands-on leadership activities as neededAbility to work flexible schedules to meet operational demandsAbility to access offices, job trailers, and meeting locations as requiredWhy Join Kelso Industries?Join us and be part of a team dedicated to creating efficient, sustainable, and high-performance environments that make a lasting impact across the industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.Here You Will ExperienceGrowth Opportunities: Develop new skills, take on exciting challenges, and advance your career in meaningful ways.Company Culture: You’ll thrive in an environment that supports your growth, values your contributions, and makes work fulfilling and enjoyable.Impact: Your work directly contributes to meaningful outcomes, allowing you to see the difference you make and feel a sense of purpose every day.Competitive Compensation & Benefits: You’ll be rewarded fairly for your contributions while enjoying perks that enhance your financial security, health, and overall well-being.Kelso Industries celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
