Internal Medicine Physician

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - General Medicine in Houston, AR Join a dedicated team at an established healthcare provider focused on delivering Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments to our nation's veterans.This position offers flexibility for providers with their own office or those able to work at a local VES facility. The role is vital in providing non-treatment evaluations to support veterans' healthcare needs. Job Responsibilities: Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams. Perform separation health assessments. Carry out interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner. Collaborate with administrative personnel for follow-up work, including addendums and medical opinions. Work on a PRN basis with options for half-day or full-day shifts. Qualifications: Board Certified in General Medicine or relevant specialty. Experience in Compensation & Pension exams preferred. Ability to conduct METs testing, and diagnose respiratory and cardiovascular issues. Proficient with completing evaluations and reports. Must possess a current unrestricted medical license in Arkansas. License and Certification Requirements: Active and unrestricted full license in Arkansas. Certification from AANP is required.
