Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary This role is pivotal in supporting the successful execution of projects by working closely with the Project Manager and other team members. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning, executing, and closing projects.Coordinate with team members to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and will meet client expectations.Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and meeting minutes.Act as a point of contact between the Project Manager, clients, and team members.Facilitate effective communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed about project status and any issues that arise.Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.Assist in the management of project resources, including personnel, materials, and budget.Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, updating project trackers, and maintaining project files.RequirementsBachelor's degree in management, business, or related field is required.2+ years of experience in project management or a related role.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Trello, Jira".Organization and multi-tasking between multiple active projectsComputer skills including MS Word, Excel, and MS PowerPointAbility to work independentlyProactive problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.Excellent organization and time management skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsWorking ConditionsLift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 lbs.Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, move, and walk long distances in and around confined and cluttered spaces and on uneven ground.See and hear naturally or with correction.Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of job dutiesRequires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls according to a set procedure.Requires repetitive movement.Typical construction site environmentRequires working in very hot or very cold temperatures and exposure to inclement weather such as dust, wind, snow, rain, etc.Requires working extremely bright or low lighting conditions.Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
