This role provides administrative and operational support across key HR functions including hourly recruiting coordination, onboarding, HRIS and payroll data entry, benefits administration, and employee relations support.Working closely with site leadership and the corporate HR team, the HR Coordinator helps ensure HR processes run efficiently while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations. This role plays an important part in supporting a positive employee experience and assisting with HR initiatives that support the Auburn site.Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate hourly recruiting activities including job postings, candidate scheduling, interview coordination, and communication with applicantsSupport new hire orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employeesAssist with attendance tracking and timecard support, including reviewing entries and helping resolve discrepanciesMaintain accurate employee records and perform HRIS and payroll data entry as neededProvide administrative support for employee benefits enrollment, changes, and general benefits inquiriesAssist with employee relations matters by supporting HR leadership with documentation, employee communications, and follow-up actionsMaintain HR documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulationsSupport HR initiatives and programs including employee engagement, training coordination, and site eventsAssist with reporting and data tracking related to HR metrics when requiredServe as a point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, procedures, and resourcesOn-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Auburn, Indiana location.QualificationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, HR administration, or a related roleExperience supporting hourly recruiting and onboarding in a manufacturing or plant environment preferredFamiliarity with HRIS systems and payroll processes preferredStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organizationHigh attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential informationProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)BenefitsBenefit offerings include Medical Insurance and Prescription Drugs, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability Insurance (for eligible employees), Employee Assistance Plan (EAP), Paid Time Off (may include vacation and sick time), Retirement Program, and Other Voluntary Benefits.Click here for more information: www.trimasbenefits.com
