Business Development Manager

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager required to join a leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial gearing and power transmission solutions covering the Ohio region, with a focus around Cleveland.The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager will have experience selling or managing accounts within the mechanical power transmission industry, including industrial gears, gearboxes, speed reducers, custom gearing solutions, couplings, bearings, motors, drives, and related rotating equipment products.The Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager will cover Ohio and surrounding territories, developing relationships with OEMs, distributors, heavy industry, steel, mining, manufacturing, aggregates, and processing customers.Package• $125,000 - $150,000 depending on experience• Mileage reimbursement• Holiday allowance• Bonus• 401(k)Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager Role• Must have experience selling industrial gearing products, gearboxes, speed reducers, custom gears, or similar mechanical power transmission equipment.• Manage key accounts within heavy industrial and OEM markets while developing new business opportunities.• Cover Ohio with a focus around Cleveland, managing and growing an existing customer base while identifying new profitable accounts.• Selling a range of mechanical power transmission and industrial gearing products including open gearing, enclosed drives, reducers, pinions, couplings, bearings, and related engineered systems.• Working closely with engineering, operations, and aftermarket teams to provide technical solutions and customer support.• Identifying new market opportunities across steel, mining, aggregates, power generation, material handling, and industrial manufacturing sectors.• Liaise with internal sales, engineering, and service teams.• Willingness to travel across Ohio and surrounding territories.Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager Requirements• Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within the mechanical power transmission industry.• Previous experience selling industrial gearing products such as gearboxes, reducers, couplings, bearings, motors, drives, open gearing, or related rotating equipment solutions.• Experience selling into heavy industrial sectors such as steel, mining, aggregates, manufacturing, power generation, or material handling would be advantageous.• Full driving licence and willingness to travel across Ohio and surrounding areas.
