Our dilution refrigerators power some of the world’s most advanced quantum systems, supporting leading quantum computing companies, national laboratories, and research institutions.Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and organized Office Manager to support the daily operations of our office. This role is essential in keeping the workplace running smoothly and ensuring employees and visitors have what they need to be productive. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping teams stay organized in a fast-paced environment. This role is onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM and offers the opportunity to grow into broader workplace operations, facilities, or business operations responsibilities as Maybell continues to scale.Key ResponsibilitiesOffice & Facilities OperationsServe as the main point of contact for all visitors to the office, building management, and vendors Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked office environment Order and manage office supplies, kitchen supplies, and general inventory for our two office locations Coordinate mail, packages, and shipping logistics Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and service appointmentsEnsure safety, cleanliness, and functionality of the office environment Employee ExperienceHelp coordinate team lunches, celebrations, and office events Support onboarding logistics for new employees (workspace setup, supplies, etc.) Contribute to creating a welcoming and positive office culture Asset and Merchandise TrackingMaintain accurate records for IT equipment including laptops, monitors, and peripherals assigned to employees Track inventory of corporate branded merchandise and coordinate restocking as needed Support periodic audits to reconcile physical assets against system records Purchasing and Invoice SupportExecute routine and one-off purchases through vendors such as McMaster-Carr and similar suppliersPlace orders for small components and operational materials based on internal requests Track receipts, invoices, and purchasing documentation, and maintain organized records to support timely Finance reconciliationQualifications2+ years of office, administrative, or customer-facing experience preferred Comfortable with Microsoft tools Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment, especially around tracking and record-keeping Comfortable placing orders online and communicating with vendors via email or phone Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Prior IT troubleshooting skills a strong plus Start-up experience highly desirable Manufacturing industry experience a plusWhat We OfferCompetitive Compensation: This is a non-exempt position, $22-$25/hour, with additional compensation through performance bonuses and equity options in one of the country's most promising startups.
