The successful candidate will be tasked with building and operating a robust email and SMS lifecycle marketing engine to convert a large content audience into buyers and repeat customers. This role is pivotal in driving measurable, profitable revenue growth from marketing channels while maintaining the editorial independence that is central to the business model. The VP will also be responsible for owning the website feature roadmap, site merchandising, and conversion rate optimization, with a strong focus on Shopify. Experience in high-AOV, low-frequency ecommerce categories and a deep understanding of CRO and analytics are essential. Applicants for the Vice President of Marketing and Ecommerce position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience, with at least 8 years' of progressive marketing leadership experience. A proven track record in email and SMS lifecycle marketing, particularly on Klaviyo, and a strong background in ecommerce operations on Shopify are required. The ideal candidate will have experience in content-led or organic-first acquisition models and be familiar with marketing technology evaluation and implementation. Leadership skills, the ability to manage cross-functional relationships, and a strong focus on brand equity are also key qualifications.
