An Associate structural engineerbrings additional technical, marketing, or internal expertise to PCS Structural Solutions. An Associate recognizes that their impact within the company goes beyond managing projects as they either lead or are vital parts of internal or external operations of the company.
What you will do:
Provides leadership developing structural systems that balance performance, cost, architectural constraints, and innovation. Understands impact of system layout, consistency and repetition on design effort, coordination of trades and deliverables. Seeks input from others to simplify structural solutions.
Communicates expectations and follows through to verify results.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university.
Masters degree in structural engineering is preferred.
Professional Engineering license.
7 years of full-time professional engineering experience preferred.
Excellent technical skills, including computer analysis.
Familiar with Revit software highly desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to build client and staff relationships.
Work Environment: Work is in an office setting with extensive computer work. Visits to a construction site is also done periodically.
Physical Demands: Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
