Job Title: House Supervisor for Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Job Type: Contract Tentative Start Date: September 30, 2024 Location: Alturas, CA 96101 Shift: Nights Duration: 13 Weeks Number of Positions: 3 Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Overtime: Available after 40 hours per week, by the week Compensation: Hours Per Week: 36 Weeks of Assignment: 13 Taxable Hourly Rate: $51 Overtime Hourly Rate: $76.50 Weekly Lodging Stipend (Non-Taxable): $749.00 Weekly Meals & Incidentals (M&I) Stipend (Non-Taxable): $413.00 Weekly Gross Pay: $2,998.0 Facility Information: Bed Size: 0-49 Trauma Level: N/A EMR Used: Cerner Key Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between the Director of Nursing (DON) and SNF nursing staff. Supervise nursing activities and ensure quality patient care, including adherence to physician’s orders and facility practices. Manage staffing schedules, payroll, overtime authorization, and participate in hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with the DON/CNO. Assist with staff evaluations and recruitment activities as needed. Contribute to policy and procedure development and stay updated on accreditation and licensing requirements. Support the development and management of the nursing budget. Foster positive working relationships with Medical Staff, Administration, other hospital departments, and volunteer groups. Assist in the orientation and education of new nursing personnel. Qualifications & Requirements: Current CA RN license and active CPR certification. Previous experience in a long-term care facility preferred. Proficiency in English (verbal and written) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Dependable, organized, reliable, with a strong work ethic and good attendance record. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to co-workers, staff, and residents. Three to five years of progressive nursing leadership experience; direct personnel management experience preferred.
