The role requires precision, efficiency, and adherence to strict medical and security protocols. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and specimen collection Label, process, and track laboratory samples Maintain chain of custody and documentation accuracy Follow infection control and safety procedures Coordinate with healthcare staff for lab services RequirementsPhlebotomy certification (nationally recognized) Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience Experience with high-volume or clinical lab environments preferred Ability to pass federal security screening Strong attention to detail and patient interaction skills Work Location & ScheduleLocation: On-site at Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, FL Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
