Risk Management Specialist - Remote

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Risk Management Specialist for a Remote position with a Leading Technology Firm located in Remote, USA. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.This role focuses on executing comprehensive risk assessments within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk methodologies, collaborate with various stakeholders including product teams, and develop qualitative and quantitative risk reports to align with business objectives.Responsibilities:Conduct risk assessments across various domains, including Financial, Operational, Compliance, and Strategic riskCollaborate with stakeholders, including product teams, to ensure risk assessments are aligned with business objectivesDevelop and recommend qualitative/quantitative risk assessment and risk weighting methodologiesComplete Risk Assessments, including risk identification, analysis, and mitigation recommendationsCreate Risk Assessment Reporting, including data analysis, charts, graphics, and slide decksProvide risk assessment training and support for stakeholdersDevelop and maintain risk assessment documentation and proceduresRequirements:5-7 years of experience in risk managementStrong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and frameworksAbility to operate independently with minimal instructionHands-on experience with executing risk assessments focusing on Independent / Enterprise Risk Management (e.g., documenting risks, reviewing actions plans and evidence, tracking mitigation, maintaining KRI/KPI, etc.)Experience with visual presentation of data and development of slide decks for risk reportingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrate proactiveness and ownership on follow-upsDesired skills:Fintech and technology companies risk management experienceExperience working with product teams and understanding product development processes, with a focus on payment products and servicesPayments / Financial Services Industry ExperienceKnowledge of emerging technologies or Technical Programs (e.g., ChatGPT, Artificial intelligence (AI), Model Risk Management, AI Risk Management Framework / NIST)Pay range up to: $112.58 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!Aptask Global Workforce (AGW)ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is a certified Minority and Veteran workforce solutions company.
