SECURITY SPECIALIST

US Department of Defense - Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point (Cunningham Field) - Responsibilities: Review civilian requests for personnel security action and determine type of investigation required and appropriate channels for requesting investigation.; Execute local records check for requests for investigation.; Review, evaluate, and adjudicate report of investigations, personnel files, and other records to determine whether to grant, deny, revoke, suspend, or restrict security clearances.; Serve as the point of contact with government investigative agencies performing security and background investigations.; Validate and maintain monthly security clearance access roster.
