Category Manager

We are partnering with a global, family-owned manufacturing organization specializing in advanced materials, coated products, and industrial solutions used across industries such as packaging, medical devices, automotive, and labeling.This is a key role responsible for managing end-to-end sourcing activities across a mix of raw materials, goods, and services, driving value through supplier performance, cost optimization, and supply chain resilience.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans across direct and indirect categoriesManage the full source-to-contract lifecycle, including supplier selection and negotiationsAnalyze market trends, pricing, and supply risks to inform sourcing strategiesDrive supplier performance (quality, OTD, cost) and long-term partnershipsCollaborate cross-functionally on NPD through to end-of-life processesLead initiatives focused on cost reduction, inventory optimization, and supply continuityWhat We're Looking For:5+ years' experience in strategic sourcing / category managementStrong background in raw materials procurement within manufacturing environmentsExperience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred)Proven ability in supplier negotiation, development, and performance managementStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsWhat's on Offer:Competitive salary + bonusComprehensive benefits packageCareer progression within a growing global businessCollaborative and flexible working environment
