Mechanical Assembler

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Gather necessary component parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Operate hand tools to install fasteners, bushings, rivets, and nut plates. Position and secure components per print. Verify specification by measuring completed components. Ability to drill and countersink holes for installation of riveted nutplates, ground studs, bolts and fasteners Bushing and bearing installation to include swaging and staking Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications Inspect own work Perform all duties in accordance with Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Highschool diploma / GED. 1-2 years of previous experience, preferred. Organized, focused, and results-oriented. Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability Ability to read and interpret mechanical bill of materials, engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Schedule: 10 hour shift Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: In person
