This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate data management and administrative support that directly impacts member eligibility, authorizations, and overall care coordination processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills.Job DescriptionThe Health Services Specialist will provide administrative and operational support to Care Coordinators, ensuring timely and accurate processing of member-related information across multiple healthcare systems. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform administrative tasks in support of Care CoordinatorsEnter assessment data into the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) to support program eligibility determinationsProcess authorization entries and maintain accurate recordsUpdate staff location and assignments in MnCHOICES for new enrollmentsManage member contact updates, including group number changes within care management systemsSupport member mail management processesSubmit and track activities within care coordination platforms for assigned teamsCollaborate with internal care coordination staff to ensure accurate and timely data entry and communicationRemote Work Requirements:Ability to maintain a professional, distraction-free work environmentRequired participation in video meetings and trainingsCompletion of an internet speed test during the application process (results must be submitted)Minimum download speed: 25 MbpsMinimum upload speed: 5 MbpsMaximum ping: 100 msQualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of related work experienceExperience performing administrative and data entry tasksStrong proficiency in managing and entering data accurately, including authorization-related informationExcellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detailAbility to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a high-volume environmentStrong communication and customer service skills when working with internal stakeholdersAbility to collaborate effectively with care coordination teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience working within a healthcare organization or health plan environmentFamiliarity with medical terminologyExposure to care management systems or state-based healthcare systems (e.g., MMIS, MnCHOICES, or similar platforms)BenefitsDahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family’s needs.
