SLP Inpatient Rehab

DutiesProvide speech-language pathology services to adult and geriatric patients in an acute rehab unit. Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatments for various patient diagnoses, including CVA, BI, head and neck cancer, and cervical fusions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately using the Epic charting system. Participate in weekend coverage, working every Saturday with a schedule from Tuesday through Saturday. Preferred experience with Trauma Level II facilities. Familiarity with Medicare A and B billing/documentation is preferred. Experience with adult rehabilitation facilities is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
