Overview Suplex Tacos is a fast-growing, fast-casual restaurant brand known for bold flavors, efficient operations, and crowd favorites like our signature 6-1-9 Burrito. We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Cook to join our back-of-house team. In this role, you'll support daily food preparation, rotate through key kitchen stations, and help us maintain high standards of consistency, cleanliness, and execution. As we prepare for future growth, you’ll also have the opportunity to provide input as we develop and roll out our new training system. Responsibilities Prepare and cook burritos, tacos, and sides using Suplex Tacos’ standardized recipes Rotate through stations including fryer, cold prep, hot prep, grill, and food assembly Follow proper portioning, ticket timing, and plating standards Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station during prep and service Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met throughout each shift Assist with inventory rotation, labeling, and prep tasks as needed Provide feedback on training materials and support onboarding of new team members Participate in daily kitchen huddles and uphold teamwork and communication standards Qualifications 1+ year of experience in a restaurant kitchen or fast-casual environment preferred Solid understanding of basic cooking methods, food safety, and sanitation Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with a developing team and training system Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for the duration of a shift Dependable, respectful, and ready to represent the Suplex Tacos brand in a high-volume setting Why Work at Suplex Tacos?
