Required Pass and Wheelchair Certificate a Plus Be able to pass Background check and Drug Test Full Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner; create a pleasant environment for the passengers during their ride. Must be able to interact with all types of customers. Act as a representative of the company while on duty. Transport clients to and from medical facilities and/or home in a timely and safe manner. Provide door-through-door pick-up and drop-off of all customers. Ensure that clients are properly secured with Q'Straint QRT Retractable Wheelchair Restraint and Securement System. Properly operate wheelchair, hydraulic lift, wheelchair lift. Utilize tablets/GPS to locate hospitals, medical facilities, and client's home. Log in every trip assigned by Dispatch throughout the day, ensuring all required information. Complete Trip Sheet on a daily basis fully recording each clients transport. Inspect vehicle for any damage, ensure all the required equipment is in the vehicle, and make certain that the gas tank is full before leaving base at the beginning of the work day and full upon returning to base at the end of the work day. (Part of Vehicle Pre and Post-trip inspection.) Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and report mechanical concerns to management. Become familiar with and follow all Policies and Procedures from Employee’s Handbook. Perform other duties as assigned.
