We believe in fostering environments where team members feel included, valued, and empowered to do their best work.Work Location: This position will be strategically located in Florida in either the northeast (e.g., Jacksonville), central west coast (e.g., Tampa area), or south (e.g., Miami).Facilitation & ImplementationFacilitate and support team members facilitating face-to-face, virtual, and online professional development learning experiencesModel successful face-to-face professional learning experiences as new implementation staff are onboardedSupport virtual course offeringsExecute implementation components of Project Charters with the implementation project budget available: travel, materials, personnel, other items necessaryInstruct courses within a virtual professional learning management systemDesign and facilitate intensive, multi-day literacy-related professional learning experiences for school administrators, coaches, and teachersCreate agendas that support the goals and objectives of the Literacy Initiatives within the Lastinger Center. This includes working with other LC personnel to craft meaningful agendas that meet the guidelines and objectives of the literacy initiativesAssist in the creation of institute materials. This includes developing and creating learning activities, assisting in the selection of materials, infusing adult learning strategies within materials, and providing evidence base that supports the selection of materials, programs, and strategiesIdentify and manage systems for resource development and personnel as the literacy work expandsProvide onsite literacy coaching and school-level support for instructional leaders and teachersAssist in the development of a framework that combines content-related expertise (i.e., reading instruction) and coaching practicesCollaborationWork in partnership with product managers, design managers, communications, technology, and other teams across the center to ensure research-based products are created and delivered to support adult learning principlesCollaborate as necessary to ensure project expectations are met per the deliverables contained in the Project CharterServe as a liaison between practitioners and support positions including instructors, facilitators, and technology team membersCollaborate with all Lastinger Center teams to design and promote high-quality instructional practices and project implementation successOperations SupportWork closely with direct supervisor to stay abreast of changes and share information from the field to guide ongoing refinement of products and servicesWork closely with Research and Evaluation and Product Development to share feedback from educators to inform research and designKeep accurate records which may include (but is not limited to) rosters; roster changes; starting and ending dates for training, attendance at meetings and trainings; receipts and invoice recordsParticipate in meetings referencing deliverables (dates, people, materials, other supports)Expected SalaryOther duties as assigned$70,000-$76,000Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.PreferredMaster’s Degree in Reading, Special Education, or related fieldReading EndorsementExperience in early childhood language, and literacy or K-12 literacy teaching/professional developmentHave experience in online learning environmentsHave expertise in literacy instruction as an educator, coach, or facilitatorAble to organize and track documentsHave reliable internet accessAble to collaborate with colleaguesAble to prioritize when faced with competing obligationsHave strong content knowledge in Science of Reading and/or the Science of Early Childhood instructionAble to respond to changes in a flexible mannerHave knowledge of adult learning principlesHave skills and experience in coaching and/or mentoringHave experience using Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, Excel and/or SmartSheetSpecial Instructions To ApplicantsIn order to be considered, you must upload your cover letter and resume.Application must be submitted by 11:55 p.m. (ET) of the posting end date.This is a time-limited position.This position is 100% remote.Health Assessment Required: NoAdvertised: 01 Jun 2026 Eastern Daylight TimeApplications close: 15 Jun 2026 Eastern Daylight TimeBack to search results Apply nowRefer a friendWhatsapp Facebook LinkedIn Email App
