Position Overview:-Board-certified Internal Medicine Physician needed for a high-volume, multidisciplinary practice specializing in workers? compensation and no-fault/lien cases.-No major medical insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid involvement.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive physical exams, diagnose, and manage acute/chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc.).- Perform detailed injury evaluations, progress assessments, and impairment ratings for workers? compensation and no-fault patients.- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, EKGs, X-rays, etc.).- Develop evidence-based treatment plans; coordinate with physical therapy, orthopedics, and pain management.- Complete thorough, timely narrative reports and forms (C-4, MG-2, etc.) for WCB and no-fault claims.- Work weekends as required; flexible scheduling.Requirements:- MD/DO with active NY license.- WCB authorization/certification.- Proven experience in workers? compensation and/or no-fault/lien practice.- Spanish fluency preferred (not required).- Ability to manage 25?35 patients/day in a fast-paced setting.
